The north end of Meadows Valley in Adams County is one of the most lush areas I've seen since leaving Alaska in 2009. Colors and shadows in that valley are constantly changing with seasons. I pass through this area at least once a week and most always need to stop for picture taking.
This acrylic painting is based on one trip last Winter when the moon was peeking through clouds and an icy mist hung amid buildings on this old ranch.
I used only three colors and white to paint shades of Winter on this wrapped and splined canvas. Professional grade viscous acrylics were applied wet into wet paint.
This painting is 12"x24"x1.5" and currently hangs in my studio. Shipping with insurance is included in the price.
