Searching Bear
Living in coastal Alaska towns for 20 years put wildlife, including bears, at the center of my universe. I had them visit my yard, show up on the other side of berry patches while I picked, share the same hiking trails, and walk onto my deck while the wood-stoked smoker was curing another batch of King Salmon.
These encounters built a connection that I still hold dear, even though I moved to Idaho. I still have wildlife around me often and my artwork continues to be influenced by my love of wild animals and Nature.
